The Chinese noun phrase matters because order, modification and reference are resolved inside it. What may look like a free description in Russian often requires precise organization before the head word in Chinese.

A useful analysis asks: where is the boundary of the phrase, what is the head, which features stand closer to it, and which create wider context. This helps read not isolated words but the structure of meaning.

A typical difficulty for Russian-speaking learners is transferring familiar modifier order and missing how elements gather around 的 or without it. The noun phrase is therefore a good bridge from “I know words” to “I see text grammar”.
